Sunday Service Times & Plan   September/October/November (pdf doc)

Have you noticed the vast amount of coverage on the TV lately about loneliness? So many folk, old and young in our communities are facing long days without conversation. We have a range of activities across the Circuit to which we could easily invite folk to just to ease that isolation.
Why not offer to take a neighbour to something? (for lunches it might be wise to phone first – but I am sure you will be made very welcome!!)

Mon 22nd 7.00pm Jubilee Room, Kirkbymoorside Methodist Church `Training for those doing‘
Local Arrangements. ’The circuit is organising a training evening for those leading worship. We will be covering the material in Worship: Foundations - An introduction to preparing and leading worship in the Methodist Church. This is an excellent new resource produced by Connexion. It covers how to construct a service from all the different ‘ingredients’ that we would expect to find in a full act of worship. The evening is particularly aimed at those who do ‘Local Arrangements’ in their own church. Church Stewards, Worship Leaders and those with no official role who lead, or share in leading, services are encouraged to attend. The session will stand alone, but we expect to organise a follow-up session toward the end of the church year for people to share progress and questions. If you are coming, please let Penny Worth know, if possible. pennyworth@doctors.org.uk  01751 411908
