From the
4th to the 7th of October
the congregation of
Rievaulx Methodist Church
were joined by Rev. Roger Simpson and a team from
St Michael le Belfrey, York.
Together we held a series of events to reach out to our families, friends and neighbours. In a whole variety of ways opportunities were provided for people to gather together and hear stories of how Jesus Christ has transformed lives. Photos of some of the events over the weekend are shown below.
Friday Night “Engage” Youth Event in Rievaulx Methodist Church led by members of the YOYO (York Schools & Youth Trust) team with band members of “This Resistance”. A great evening was had by all & we hope the team will be able to come back soon!!
Book & Christmas Card stall in Helmsley Market Place on Friday serving free tea & coffee with members of the team asking members of the public “Soul Search” Questionnaires and sharing their faith.
Craft & Coffee morning in Rievaulx Village Hall with flower arranging, card making, children’s crafts and puppets to music!
Country Harvest Hoe Down in Rievaulx Village Hall with live music, singing, dancing, stories & supper!
